Property Connector's Sell Limit feature empowers Revenue Managers to take control of their inventory. By setting a Total Sell Limit Level, you can ensure that overall occupancy remains within desired parameters. Moreover, the ability to define Channel Sell Limit Level allows for strategic distribution, preventing over-reliance on any single channel and optimizing revenue by allocating inventory where it yields the best results. This dual approach ensures that every room is sold at the right price, through the right channel, and at the right time.

Enable/Remove Sell Limit
Quick Update
- Go to Main Calendar
- Choose Main Calendar Tab
- Filter by Sell Limit
- Select the specific rate plan where you want to apply the rule, you can select a rate plan with all room types or a specific room type. Click on the Channel Sell Limit to apply for a quick update. You will see a Quick pop-up window as shown
- Quick Update pop-up window comes out.
- Enter an Sell Limit number, when the channel's sales volume for that date exceeds this amount, the selected rate-plan will be withdrawn from sale. Please notice only value greater than 0 is accepted
- Click apply to set the rule. You can remove your sell limit using the same path.
Bulk Update
On the Main Calendar, select Bulk Update and click on Sell Limit
Select your desired rate plan and click [NEXT]
Next, you can select date range by Today, Next 7/14/30 Days or a Custom date range.
Once you select the date range, continue with the option of Everyday or Weekday/Weekend/Day of Weel, then click [NEXT]
Once done, you can update your desired Sell Limit before clicking [Update]
Only value greater than 0 is accepted
You can confirm your Total Sell Limit by going back to Calendar > Sell Limit
You can also validate your Channel Sell Limit.
If a booking request is submitted after the Sell Limit has been attained, the system will automatically decline the booking with the error message "availability roomRate is not found".
